confusing. it's been damp yet warm today & over the weekend it's been bright & brisk. we are expecting rain all week which bums me out for the baby shower (#2) on saturday. i was hoping part of it would be at the park. ah well. it'll still be fun.
so i have a bit of scratchy throat & have been sneezing. sadly i have been congested since the bout with bronchitis & you have heard enough about my bloody nose! i think i am due for a serious spa visit post snapdragon arrival which i so deserve & would be good for the system anyway.
we had baby shower #1 via skype with heng ji's family in the west coast. it was so sweet how they all gathered together to show us the various presents then wrapped them up for his mom to bring (& or ship as we recommended). i had only previously met his gma & his mom. it was nice to virtually meet the aunts & cousins & nieces.
of course skype isn't the best since we had to redial & reconnect a few times. but we got several good 15-20 min runs there. plus i love his gma's place where they held it so that was nice to see again. i never cease to be suprised how excited they all are for the snapdragon. i really appreciate it. i was telling heng ji that last night again.
his mom said she's buy whatever else we need when she is here next week. honestly though, there is still the boston babyshower so we should play things well so as not to duplicate gifts. although i would love for heng ji to get the baby bjorn i selected for him to carry around the snapdragon. we each should have our carry pack. this will avoid annoying adjustments!
we are in week 35 already! it's crazy fast.
