back in touch

i have recently been getting in touch with some folks who i have often wondered & thought fondly about over many years. it is wonderful to hear about what they are doing now & how much they have changed & stayed the same. i hope to continue.
it makes me wonder why i didn't get in touch sooner. i realize we all have busy lives (only getting busier) but if people genuinely cared or were interested in another person, you would think efforts would be made. i am glad to have made them.
granted getting back in touch is a very different ride than getting to know someone in the first place. i think it's worth it.
strangely or not so much since the universe is clearly tying everything together, i have run into a friend who i very much enjoyed but lost track of & heard from another who now an expat infrequently appears in die niederwelt but as of yet we hadn't connected.
funny how things all work together. on another note i was lamenting to heng ji how i feel it's time for another friend, who pops in & out of my life, to reappear as it has been at least 4 years since he was last around. maybe if i keep the energy out there he will somehow or another manifest. don't laugh: this has worked in the past.
people stay away for long periods of time but they do get back in touch. there is a connection between some people, a literal pull & it's more than curiosity. i truly believe that of the gazillions of people we interact with (most not by choice) the few we instantly, inexplicably connect with do stay within our realm, if not physically.
on that note, i am sending good energy to you out there & you know who you are. come on, get in touch.
