great class

i was so beat after & during last night's training, sweating buckets! first the class was so small, we didn't even complete the first column of the sign in sheet so around 20 people & because of this basics went fast! the heat in my head was unbearable & though it wasn't that hot temperature wise, it was really humid. i grabbed a small towel this morning while packing gear & it turned out to be a handtowel (not so soft) & full of dog hair (bleah! it stuck all over me). i kept wetting down my face & neck since i was getting my own sweat in my eye & man! it stings! it was fun though with heng li back. i did yiluquan as far as i "knew" fudging my way through the 2nd jump & the punches that followed. there was great chi in class with some of the gang there! it is so encouraging so i kept at it. then xu pulled me off along with others mid-yiluquan & taught me up to pubu. i was so excited telling quan tuo about it & he said soon you'll be serving up grapes! that's a commentary on how different older students have different styles of teaching! it was my feetsies that were actually tired last night. don't exactly know why but ah well. i met quan tuo & his uncle who were having dinner & wolfed down a delicious pear & proscuitto salad with green apples & sharp cheese along with tons of water. we hung out a bit & caught up & then quan tuo & i walked to union sq to catch the love train. i miss him training with me. but he'll be at it soon enough when he is 100% again. my shaolin brothers were disappointed i wasn't soup training but then again we will be with one another all weekend. we meet up tonight after L2 class for a 2 hour jaunt to east hamptons. i still have to pack... one of our classmates, the other hannah was in mexico for the intensive with sifu & came back knowing what looked like part of a completely different form. i was so jealous!! ah, i'll get there one day. but first things first - complete yiluquan sharp3.
quan tuo, still not feeling his best, actually went to bed before me last night. i thought for some reason homer was going to be on leno last night & he was not! there were several earth shattering kabooms last night & frankly at one point i thought something must have fallen off the bqe. poor bo bunny was frightened, teno was barking loud. my neighborhood is out of control.
