next up
in as much as i am really enjoying spending time with the boyos & the snapdragon, i have to say i am getting pretty antsy now. i should really do something for me every week. heng ji is going to transfer his gym membership to me so i can use the facilities (pool, sauna) so i can get the ball rolling. i am also going back to shaolin training. i think it's time. i realize my wrists will have to get stronger & there isn't a "fix" per say. i need to sweat & get my body tired in the way that will let me sleep well [though i question whether a parent can really sleep well since we always have an ear for the slightest cry or whimper in the other room or in my case my own room where the boyos are]. mostly i think my brain & my soul need it. for my own well-being i have to quell the usual fears of returning to training after any absence or starting a new type of training but the old adage: just do it.
