oh give me a home!

lately it seems all my & heng ji's energy has gone towards apartment hunting & once finding something we like, apartment having. it's not entirely set in stone yet but it is looking good. i am borderline over it already, though i know i cannot be spreading negative energy around. it has been a while since i have apartment hunted & it has never seemed so daunting & fraught with paperwork perils. anyway, more chi on that!

to keep energies good & happy, i even started packing since that's always granted me some semblance of order & allowed purging. it's crazy what you accumulate in a short amount of time. packing does send my dogs into one of two states: frenzy sniffing everything around them (as if for the first time) OR poutiness (with heavy sighing). i mean really! it's not like they don't think they will be coming along!

i am trusting in the powers of the universe here since we have done all we can on our end for this particular place. i am always grateful for the great apartment karma i have been lucky to have (it does mean different things to different folks) but 15 years & running in nyc is nothing to scoff at. especially if you had any idea how many apartments i have gone through in that time! so many locations, so many great memories, such a great learning experience.

now on to another experience, i think i am ready.
