fire! island, that is

so we are off to fire island in the morning at the invitation of our shaolin brother zhi who is so kind to include us in his week+ rental. how cool is that? in the many years i have lived in die niederwelt, fire & the other island have been just myths. now i get to see the real thing. the only thing zhi asks us to bring is some vino. i am thinking some champagne! who knows when i'll next get to go to the island again.
we are interning the boyos at our friend adam's who the boys love, love, love! they also very much like his dog september (whose bday is coming up) & his love, dee. but let's face it, it's adam & his sweet knees machiavelli is looking forward to hanging out with. teno likes adam too but he isn't as expressive as the other, although that is changing rapidly.
it was just, a few moments ago, looking like a dark & stormy night, complete with lightning & the thunder that sends boyos (read mac) into the nervous ninnies. but now the sun is out again. there is some wind but it looks like it wasn't going to pour as it was minutes ago. how strange. or maybe not so much. with the climactic shifts, weather is just going to get more & more severe & hard to predict. sure was pretty though.
will be heading back into the city in a bit to meet quan tuo & a mix of L1 & L2 folks for our brother easter's bday! i intend to manoever us into a good restaurant since i will be starving by then. but i will let the bdaygurl choose where. since we missed training last night & will again this weekend, it will be nice to see the gang. despite being a short one, since we still have to deposit the dogs, i am sure we will have loads of fun.
