my beautiful lola mama
i just sent her some of the photos from cc's wedding & i know she will be so happy to see all the family members gathered together. of course i only sent her the tip of the iceberg, particularly since i didn't take any photos myself (ahem!)& i have to chase around those who did take pix as well as accept whatever photos are sent my way. of course i could not possibly send photos without a letter (this one short, only 3 pages) with the latest synopsis. i also sent a one photo of the boyos & one photo of quan tuo & i at jones beach. not that i wasn't sprinkled in all the photos i sent her. these things make her so happy. i mean really, is it too much for her bloody grandchildren to send a card with a note & photos now & then? it's all the woman asks for! well, that & the occasional call that i make sure i do here & there just to hear her lovely voice. i have got to get my arse over there next year. it is ridiculous! lola is 97 years old, what the hell am i waiting for? i manage to somehow make it to various places & spend the mullah but i can't get my shite together to visit the one woman i really love in the whole world? must train harder to do just that.
anyway, the photo is when nina was just a little baby, there are more recent photos but i didn't have them handy from their last trip. nina isn't a baby anymore. if anything she is too smart to be a 4yo. mischievious as all hell & man, i love her for it!
