
it has been a bloody long time since i last trained. i sorely need it. my energy level has been affected & i do miss that painful "high" from training. also with work being so crazy, i have been exhausted & i know that missing training only exacerbates that! i am so looking forward to training tonight, although i know it will be really painful since the muscles have not been working as hard. mostly i know the pain will be from getting winded. yup, i will be sucking wind but that's ok! more chi.
on the Kung Fu Dorks Unite! site, we have been taking about stretching & how important it is. while it is true that stretching in & of itself is great, stretching without variance or corrections will only take us so far. quan tuo has been so advised to put together a stretch posse in L2. it may be time to incorporate some L1 folks interested in stretching further & with more diversity. it is amazing how different kinds of stretching comes easier to some. we could all use help from one another. in fact, sifu says we should be able to tell incremental differences in how far we stretch every time. so stretch posse, here we come. i hope there is interest! otherwise, quan tuo seems to have a wealth of stretches we can do but it is more fun if we suffer together (in a bigger group).
