so the housecleaning email has sparked a dormant contention between the iron maiden & i. i suspect this happens to other mothers & daughters. i finally put an end to it in my final email stressing that there is no point in talking about it. "it" being my housekeeping style. if she truly respects it as she said, she wouldn't have to bring it up. if it means that mom & dad don't want to stay over then so be it. but don't go around saying you respect something then turn around & criticize it. it isn't constructive criticism, it's just criticism & that annoying need to push upon others how you wish things & others to be. besides which, there are other more important things in life.
i will speak about it no more.
