looks like i am definitely going to buy my friend adam's fiance dee's old car for the summer. i say summer because i would be happy if it lasted just the summer. by all accounts, it looks to be in good shape & i will know for sure when i see it & test drive it in the next couple of weekends (hopefully we can get our schedules together). it is a stickshift & that makes me very happy! it's is very exciting: the prospect of a car. i know young machiavelli will be beside himself! oh & tentoes too!
as it is old, i expect the insurance to be mild. the gas prices are ridiculous these days so we won't be driving to the dogrun every day but we will be able to get out of dodge & frankly, that's all i really want.
it is workable to have a car in the hood. a few years ago, daddyo lent me his car for a few months & it was fine to move it from one side to the other 4 days a week. cooperation with quan tuo is tantamount.
anyhoo, take a look at the car, i already have a little nickname in mind but we'll have to see if it has the kick~
